New Beginning!

Baby Tayden Parker Rapp was born on March 10, 2011 at 11:32 pm. It was the best day ever! We had a long day that day. We went to the hospital at 5:30 am to be induced and then the doctor came and broke my water at about 9 am. I was only 2 cm dialated then. The contractions started to get bad and I had an epiduriol at about 11 am. Let me tell you an epiduroil is the best thing on the entire planet!!! It is my new best friend! ;)  After that we sat around waiting for something to happen. My blood pressure dropped when my nurse came in to turn me onto my other side and we all had a scare fright. I had an oxygen mask for a while because the baby was not getting enough oxygen. After we were both stablized we took a little bit of a nap. Later that day we had visitors, Jacob's mom and sister and her little girls came to see us. My nurse was amazing, she was very patient with me and helped me with everything. At about 9 pm I started to feel like I needed to push so me new nurse checked me and I was dialated to a 9!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!! So she started to get the room ready then checked me again and I was at a 10!!!!!!! So we started pushing....but things werent going well.....he wasnt coming out or making much progress. Finally he came and it was a great relief. He was born at 11:32 pm on March 10th 2011. He weighed 7 lbs. 11 ounces and was 20 and a quarter inches long. He was happy to have his daddy's finger in his hand while he got his first shots and was cleaned up. After that everyone left and Tayden and I were able to go to sleep after a very long day.

Just thinking...

So, today I was thinking that I really need to do something. So I got online to try to find a new hair style that I would like to cut my hair to. I love Jennifer Aniston's hair styles! She is one of my all time favorite actresses too! ;) The hair style that I love the most well for right now is her style in the Friends TV show season 10. The very last episode! Her hair is so dang cute!!!! I want that hair style so bad but I can not find a good enough picture of her hair!!! I am so dang mad! I need help finding that picture! Another thing I was thinking about was either doing highlights in my hair or staying this color. I need feed back!!!

Oh the joy!

So, I had a doctor's appointment today and it went well. She checked me and I am still only 1 centimeter but it is thining out. My due date is next friday and my next appointment is on monday. She said that if I dont go into labor by my due date then I will have another appointment but that I should deliver the little guy by 41 weeks. GGGGRRRRRR!!!!!!!! Little guy just doesnt know his way out!!!!!! But I get to see my mom soon and not be so lonely during the day anymore. So I am going to just keep doing those walks. And the doctor gave me a new remedy for all the itching. She told me to use almond oil! So I am going to go and get some later today!!!!!! Hopefully it works.

Doctor's visit!

So yesterday we went to the doctor for my weekly check up! It was no fun. I am only 1 centimeter dilated and I would just really like this little guy out. So, now I have come up with a strategy to get him out faster or at least by his due date. My strategy is to go on long walks every day! Hehe!! And there is a second part but I cannot reveal that because it is for me to know. Oh and I am going to try to eat as much spicy food as possible! So if you cannot tell already I really want my little boy out! I want to play with him and I am dying of boredom right now so he will keep me busy! Oh, and I really want to see my mom, and I can't see her until he is ready to come out. So this is my strategy! Wish me luck!!!

Crazy Week!!!

So last week I had pinkeye and was still trying to fight my cold. We went to the doctor and she gave me antibiotics and they are like heaven!!!!! As the weekend came I came up with a yeast infection! I do believe it was the worst week of my life and my poor husband had to try to take care of me when there wasn't much that he could do. We went to the doctor again today and everything is looking good. Tayden is head down and moving like crazy!!!! He loves to play kick mommy at random. I am all healthy now and we are just waiting for the little tyke to come. The doctor said that he should come about right on time but the appointment next week should give us a more accurate date. We are really excited and want to be able to hold and play with our little boy. So lets see what the next appointment brings!!!

Being Pregnant is...

Being pregnant can sometimes be very frustrating. Today at church it was a stake conference and here the stakes are way bigger than I am used too.....well imagine a very pregnant woman in a room full of too many people sitting listening to the speakers and dieing of heat!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY COW! My hormones spiked and it was way too hard to sit there and listen when you are sick and everyone's body temperatures are rising and (I don't think) the air conditioner not on. I about died!!!! No it wasn't that bad it was just very uncomfortable and I prefered the cold weather outside where it was probably 40 degrees...Well anyway just thought I would tell that story and that Tayden doesn't like crowded areas.....he starts moving like crazy. Oh we cannot wait until he is here! Only have 5 weeks and 5 days til he is due!!!! How exciting!!!!!!

Fun Times

So today Jacob and I went to the new doctor to sign the papers for the release of medical records to the new doctor. We got my appointment set up and it is for Tuesday morning at 9:30 am!!! I am not a morning person but with a very uncomfy baby in the way of laying the best way to sleep it is ok. After that we went to D.I. and got a bunch of baby clothes! I am so excited because my hubby picked out most of them. It was so much fun to see his excited face as he went thru and picked out all the ones that he liked. We also found a cute onesie that matches one of Jacob's nice button up shirts. So we will be using those for a family picture once he is here! Well, that was our fun adventure today.

Sorry it has been so long since I have last posted but I did not have internet at our house. So to update everyone we have now moved to Twin Falls. I am 6 weeks away from having baby Tayden and we are really excited. I am getting bigger with each passing day and cannot bend over anymore...sad but yet fun. Jacob gets to tie my shoes and all that fun stuff. Jacob is doing great, he is smiles all around and loves to talk and "try" to tickle Tayden everyday. But then in his attempt to tickle Tayden he makes me have to go to the bathroom every time. No matter it is lots of fun. Things are slowly coming together for Taydens arrival and I think the only thing we have left to get is a pack'n'play with a bassinet and changing table...oh and more clothes.
It is really funny everytime we go anywhere the first place I want to go is the baby section. I believe I am obessed with baby things. Most of the clothes we have for him so far are all camo! My husbands favorite color! But that is ok because now everyone will know for sure that he is a BOY!!!!! Well I am off to bed now. I promise that I will post more now that I have internet all the time.
